Terms of service.

Even unexpected incidents occur from time to time, due to factors beyond our control and which may cause changes to the trip or impair the promised level of services. Please accept this in a good spirit, with patience and humor and consider it an integral part of the trip experiences and acquaintance with the countries in which we travel. We will do everything to ensure that incidents do not occur, but at the same time we reserve the right to make changes to the route according to the situation on the ground, even if the changes include waiving services and sites specified in the program.

Registration conditions

The traveler's registration or payment of the advance or the traveler's participation in the trip or part of it, expresses the traveler's full and express consent to all the terms detailed below by MaimHaim Ltd. (hereinafter: "MaimHaim" or the "Organizers"). No claim will be accepted that the traveler did not read and/or did not agree to the terms and information appearing in this document prior to his registration for the trip and/or participation in the trip.

Group size and composition

The execution of the tours is conditional on the registration of at least 10 travelers for each tour. MaimHaim reserves the right to cancel a tour up to 7 days before the tour departs. This is if at least 10 travelers have not registered by that date and have paid the advance payment to guarantee their participation in the tour. In this case, the organizers will refund the money paid to them in shekels. For the avoidance of doubt, it is clarified that if the traveler paid in shekels, he will be refunded the amount of money he paid, and if he paid in foreign currency, he will be refunded the amount of money in foreign currency or in shekels calculated according to the exchange rate of the currency as it was on the day he paid to the company, but the company will not be obliged to pay additional compensation due to the cancellation of the tour detailed in this section. The organizers may cooperate with another tourist entity at their discretion and unite registrants into a joint group and are not obliged to notify travelers in advance of such decisions. In this case, changes may occur to the tour itinerary.

Group meeting

A group meeting will not be held unless the organizers have specifically notified the group meeting for the trip in question. If a group meeting is held, the organizers recommend that you attend the meeting and in any case of absence, there will be no responsibility to convey to the traveler the information conveyed at the meeting. The notification of the meeting date will be communicated through the organizers or the travel agent.

health

You must contact the District Health Office at least two weeks before the trip to receive instructions regarding vaccinations and medications. The company is strictly prohibited from providing advice or instructions on these matters.

Vaccines

It is the responsibility of travelers to ensure they have the necessary vaccinations according to their travel destination. For vaccinations, please contact the District Health Office.

Passport and visas

You must have a passport valid for at least six months from the date of departure. Issuing/extending a passport is the sole responsibility of the traveler. Foreign passport holders must check whether appropriate visas are required. In any case of trip cancellation or change resulting from problems with entry visas or from the policies of the governments of the countries to which the trip departs, the company is not responsible for the damage and expenses involved. Issuing visas is the responsibility of the traveler unless otherwise specified in the trip notes.

Refusal to register and termination of participation

MaimHaim reserves the right to reject a registration request and/or refuse to include any person who, in its opinion, may interfere with the proper course of the trip, without having to justify its position on the matter. MaimHaim reserves the right to terminate the participation of a traveler whose behavior and/or health condition prevents his continued participation in the trip and/or harms or may harm the traveler himself, the guide or other participants, all at the sole and absolute discretion of the tour guide. In the event of termination of participation as stated, the traveler will be refunded the proportional part of the amount he paid for the trip (excluding the flight) that was not used up to the date of termination of participation, unless MaimHaim charges cancellation fees to suppliers, in which case the traveler will be charged for them.

Number of days of the trip

The number of days of the trip includes the day of departure from Israel and the day of return to Israel, even if these days do not include a tour program. In the event that the number of days of the trip changes, due to changes in the flight schedule and/or unexpected changes in the program, etc., the price of the trip will be updated. It is hereby clarified that the change will not be proportional to the number of days of the trip that were reduced or added, but rather in relation to the actual cost incurred by the company due to the change.

Flights

A change in the scheduled flight schedule made by the airline or a change in the airline may result in a change in the length of the trip and changes in the route. The price of the trip will be updated accordingly. Notification of a change in the flight schedule may be made at very short notice. A traveler who cancels his trip due to a non-substantial change from the changes detailed above will be charged a cancellation fee according to the published price terms.

Trip plan

There is a possibility that a particular trip will be integrated into the itinerary of another trip from another company. The trips will be merged if the number of participants does not justify, at MaimHaim's discretion, an independent departure of the trip. In this case, the itinerary may change. The level of services will not change as a result of the combination. There may also be changes to the order of days and visits as shown in the original program.

Payment terms

A deposit of €150 will be paid upon registration. The balance of the payment will be due 90 days before the trip departure date. Payment will be made in shekels according to the highest dollar/euro exchange rate for transfers and checks on the day of payment and in accordance with the payment options detailed in the price list.

Cancellation fees for trips abroad

Cancellation fees are subject to the Consumer Protection (Transaction Cancellation) Regulations – 2010, as amended from time to time, (hereinafter: "the Regulations"). MaimHaim will operate in accordance with the Regulations. If the Regulations do not apply, the cancellation fees will be as follows, except in cases where Amendment 47 of 2016 to the Consumer Protection Law – Distance Selling Tourism Transactions applies, in which the cancellation terms are as specified prior to the purchase:

After registration and up to 60 days before departure €150.
From 59 days to 30 working days before departure €300.
From 29 days to 14 working days before departure, 80% of the trip value.
If the cancellation date falls within the period of 13 working days before the trip departure, the traveler will pay the full price of the trip.
In any case, any other amount paid by the traveler and for which he is entitled to a refund will be refunded to him in the currency values according to the exchange rate on the day of payment, within 30 days from the date of cancellation.
The traveler's credit card will serve as security for payment of the trip according to its terms, including cancellation fees.

Cancellation fees for trips to Israel

From the moment the order is placed until 21 working days before the event – 250 NIS per participant
From 20 working days to 14 working days before the event – 500 NIS per participant
From 13 working days to 8 working days before the event – 50% of the order value
From 7 working days until the event date and no-show – 100% of the booking value

If the cancellation conditions do not meet the terms of the Consumer Protection Law, cancellation fees will apply as detailed above.

When canceling participation, a detailed email with all relevant documents and details must be sent to health@sorento.co.il.

Changes and price changes

The price of the trip consists of the price of flights and the price of ground services. As of the date of publication of the trip, the price of flights is based on the rates and policies of the airlines as of the above date. Due to economic instability in many countries, there may be changes in the prices of flights and ground services. The organizers reserve the right to update the price of the trip accordingly, even if partial or full payment has been made by the traveler.

Those wishing to depart and/or return on a flight different from the trip's flight itinerary may do so by submitting a written request up to two months prior to the trip. A traveler who departs from Israel and/or returns on a different date and destination than the group will be charged a handling fee in addition to the change fee charged by the airline.

The minimum currency rates are:

Euro exchange rate – 4.1
Dollar exchange rate – 3.8

Force Majeure

In situations caused by force majeure at the vacation destination, MaimHaim will be entitled to make changes at its discretion to the activity data in order to optimally maintain the vacation.

single room

The organizers recommend that a solo traveler book a single room. Individual registrants who are not interested in a single room should contact us. We will make every effort to place them in a room with another traveler, but this is not a guarantee. A single room is available only in hotels. Single rooms are not available at stopovers in Europe.

Smoking

No more smoking on the bus while traveling. Smoking is also prohibited in hotels.

Flights

Flight tickets according to the itinerary (departure and return with the group and internal flights according to the tour plan). Transatlantic flights on scheduled airlines and internal flights on local airlines. This itinerary has a large number of domestic flights. Important: There may be changes to domestic flights even after the tour departs and accordingly changes to the itinerary. In the event of a flight change/delay, part of the tour plan will be canceled on that day accordingly. If a change is made to the scheduled flight schedule by the airlines that will cause changes to the itinerary, with additional charges to the tour price resulting from this, these expenses will apply to travelers. Notification of a change to the flight schedule may be made at very short notice.

accommodation

First class hotels and/or good tourist class. Accommodation in double rooms with attached bathrooms. The hotel check-in and check-out procedure is according to the rules accepted worldwide and are: check-in no earlier than 2:30 PM, check-out by 10:30 AM. The hotel rating is according to the standards of the competent authorities in the destination country. In the event of a request for accommodation for 3 in a room, the room will be a double room with an additional bed, possibly a folding bed. In the event that the booked hotel is full, the company reserves the right to arrange an alternative hotel of a similar level. The list of hotels received by the traveler is not final and the organizers reserve the right to change them if necessary, even without any prior notice to the traveler.

transport

Bus or other means of transportation (intended for tourists). According to the programs and tours included in the tour price. The bus is not attached. We do not undertake to provide travelers with transportation at times that are not an integral part of the tour, including going out for entertainment in the evenings that are not according to the tour program. Transportation provided at the request of travelers outside the program will be at their expense. The organizers do not undertake to provide air conditioning in transportation.

Tours and transportation

Transfers to and from airports abroad. Travelers who join or separate from the group at a time different from the published tour itinerary are not entitled to any transportation and/or refund.

cargo

Transfer of traveler's luggage weighing no more than 20 kg on international flights and 15 kg on domestic flights.

Taxes and levies

Port taxes, fuel surcharges and security fees that are collected with the flight ticket in Israel, updated as of the date of printing this document. Any additional taxes after registration will be paid by the traveler.

training

A group is accompanied by the organizing team and local guides at some of the sites.

Registration fee
€150 per traveler which will not be refunded under any circumstances.

The price does not include:

Passport and visas

Expenses/passport extension fees, entry visas, insurance.

Taxes and levies

The price does not include surcharges, taxes or other mandatory or additional charges not included in the trip price as published at the time of publication of this brochure. Some of the port taxes for domestic flights will be paid directly during the trip.

Meals

A meal that is not specified in the economy section of the itinerary is not included in the price of the trip.

Additional price for a single room.

Insurance

Personal, medical and baggage travel insurance. Every traveler is required to purchase an appropriate insurance policy, which can be arranged through us.

Leisure activities and tours during free time

Any tour or entertainment not specified in the program. Where free time and/or the possibility of a tour or visit of any kind is indicated, this means that they are not included in the price of the trip and participation in them entails an additional fee.

Personal expenses

Expenses of a personal nature such as mail, telephones, laundry, drinks, etc.

tip

Gratuity (tip) as detailed in each itinerary. The gratuity will be collected by the travelers and given by the guide centrally to the various service providers: waiters, drivers, receptionists, porters, local guides, etc. Not including a gratuity for the Israeli group guide. It is customary to give a gratuity to the Israeli guide of $5 per day of travel per person.

Disagreements

The traveler's registration for the trip constitutes their agreement to the terms detailed in the trip brochure.
Local jurisdiction will be the courts of the city of Kfar Saba only.
It is hereby expressly clarified that the mere registration of a traveler with a travel agency or travel agent anywhere in the country will not confer jurisdiction on the courts in whose jurisdiction the place of business of the travel agency or travel agent is located, even if the lawsuit is filed against them.
The company may, at its discretion, require the traveler to have the differences of opinion between him and the company resolved before an arbitrator or arbitrators appointed for this purpose by the Israel Travel and Tourism Agents Association, including the Public Complaints Committee within its framework.

Terms of use and browsing the site

Use of the MaimHaim website (hereinafter: "MaimHaim"), including all of its content, usage options, and services provided therein (hereinafter: the "Site") is offered to you subject to your acceptance of the terms and conditions contained in this document as they stand (hereinafter: the "Terms of Use"). Use of the Site shall be deemed to constitute your unequivocal acceptance of all Terms of Use.

The terms of use of the site are worded in the masculine form for convenience purposes only, and they, of course, also apply to women.

All information contained on the Site (hereinafter: "the Information"), including texts, images, graphics, video, sound and other means contained on the Site, are protected by copyright, trademarks and other proprietary rights. The Site as a work is protected by copyright. No part of the information may be copied or published without the express consent of MaimHaim.

Copyright and intellectual property

The user undertakes not to publish in any way any information and/or any part thereof in public without prior express written permission from MaimHaim. The user also undertakes not to publish in public any product and/or output of the information and not to duplicate, photograph, copy or print any product and/or output from the information or any part thereof for the purpose of distribution or publication in any way, without prior written permission from MaimHaim.

Use of the site requires the user to act in accordance with these rights, and does not grant the user any copyright and/or other intellectual property rights.

The trademarks on the site (except for the trademarks of advertisers on the site) are the exclusive property of MaimHaim, and may not be used without MaimHaim's prior written consent.

The user gives his/her consent to make any use of his/her photos and/or videos, which were taken during our activities for the purposes of marketing the activity and publishing it in any form and/or manner determined by the management, including advertising in the written press or in any other media or broadcasting platform, including the Internet and cellular.

Information Use Restrictions

In any case of a discrepancy between information published on the site and information found in MaimHaim's offices, the information found in MaimHaim's offices will be the binding information and MaimHaim will not be responsible for any damage, expense and/or loss that may result from such a discrepancy.

MaimHaim, including its managers, employees and anyone acting on its behalf, will not be liable for any damage, direct or indirect, caused to the user and/or any third party, due to the use of the information, whether caused intentionally by any third party or due to any malfunction.

The Site may contain electronic links to and from other sources of information or resources located on other sites on the Internet (hereinafter: "Other Sources"). Electronic links to and from the Site cannot be interpreted as an expression of support or opinion, express or implied, by MaimHaim regarding those other sources and the content published therein.

Customer confidentiality

We maintain customer confidentiality. Credit information is not stored in our system. We undertake not to transfer credit information to a third party.

Site changes

MaimHaim has the right to make improvements or changes to the information, content, services, and products on the site or to terminate its operations at any time without prior notice.

Changing the terms of use of the site

MaimHaim reserves the right to make changes to the Terms of Use. The updated Terms of Use will appear on the Site at any time. Such changes will come into effect upon notification of the changes via the Site or via email or any other means MaimHaim chooses. Use of the Site after receipt and/or publication of such notification will be deemed to constitute your agreement to all changes, terms and conditions that will apply to the Terms of Use.
